Your information & your choices
Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This policy explains how WeServe (“we”, “us” and “our”) handles personal information when you visit https://weserve.co.in, use our enquiry form or website chat, or contact us about our restaurant and hospitality consultancy services.
1. Who we are
WeServe is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. For privacy questions, requests or complaints, contact the WeServe team:
WeServeG 22 Samudra, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380006, India
info@weserve.co.in
2. Information we collect
- Enquiry information: your name, email address, telephone number if provided, and the message or project details you submit. The telephone field on the contact form is optional; the chat asks for a number so our team can follow up.
- Submission and security information: we temporarily use your IP address to limit repeated submissions. Google reCAPTCHA processes information about your browser, device and interactions to help distinguish people from automated abuse. Enquiry emails also contain delivery information such as the date and time.
- Technical information: hosting and security services may process request information such as IP addresses, browser or device details, pages requested and error logs when delivering and protecting the website.
- Correspondence: information you choose to share when communicating with us about your enquiry or a privacy request.
The website chat is a guided enquiry tool that submits your contact details and project message through the same enquiry system as the contact form. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or other sensitive personal information through either tool.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to your enquiry, understand your requirements and discuss our services with you.
- Keep relevant records of our communications and manage a potential or ongoing business relationship.
- Maintain the website, diagnose problems and prevent spam, fraud or misuse.
- Handle privacy requests, meet applicable legal obligations and establish or protect legal rights.
We process information you voluntarily provide for these stated purposes and on other grounds permitted by applicable law. Where consent is required, we will obtain it for the relevant use. Visiting this website does not, by itself, constitute consent to optional analytics or marketing. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.
6. Retention and security
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed to handle your enquiry, maintain relevant business records and meet applicable legal or dispute-resolution requirements. The appropriate period depends on the information and our relationship with you. You can ask us to delete information; some records may need to be retained where the law or an ongoing dispute requires it.
We use reasonable measures to protect personal information, including keeping email delivery credentials on the server and using controls to reduce abusive submissions. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please contact us promptly if you believe your information has been misused.
7. International processing
WeServe is based in India. Depending on the providers used, information may be processed or stored in other countries. Our Amazon SES sending service is configured in Stockholm, Sweden; Vercel, Google and email providers may also process information internationally. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we will use the appropriate arrangements.
8. Your choices and privacy requests
You can choose not to submit an enquiry or provide optional information. Without the details needed to contact you, we may be unable to respond. Depending on applicable law, you may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, or withdrawal of consent for uses that depend on consent.
To make a request or raise a privacy concern, email info@weserve.co.in with enough information for us to understand the request. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We will respond in accordance with applicable law and explain any reason we cannot fulfil a request. Withdrawing consent does not affect lawful processing that took place before withdrawal or information we must keep for another lawful reason.
You may also raise a complaint with the relevant data-protection authority where that right is available under applicable law.
9. Children and external links
Our website and consultancy enquiries are intended for adults. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and address it appropriately.
Links to social networks and other external websites take you to services operated by other organisations. Their privacy policies apply to information you provide or they collect on their own sites.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website, services or information-handling practices change. The latest version will be available on this page with an updated date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before using information for a materially different purpose.
